don’t delete artist comments, artist credits, blog sources, or save and repost images to your own blog, etc etc etc. just don’t, man.
I’m really tired of seeing my own work and ESPECIALLY the work of my friends stripped of credit. people are posting free content online for you to look at and enjoy, and if the thing they had to say about it or a link to them is too ugly for your dumb blog, don’t reblog it. I know this is the wild wild west of the internet, but try to respect creators.

Gabrielle Rogers and Stefan Auer craft ships in bottles. They received a special request to recreate a combination of scenes from the 1975 horror/thriller film Jaws and boy did they do an awesome job.

Click here for lots of process photos and a step-by-step description of the creation process. The amount of detail is amazing. We might just have to go home and watch Jaws tonight!

Inspired by Norwegian folklore, “Eyes as Big As Plates” is a series depicting their neighborly Finnish elders festooned in the organic materials of their homeland, each an enigmatic but equally endearing character that has sprung to life from the old world fables. You can check out their show at the Recess in Red Hook in Brooklyn, NY through April 26, 2013.
